Our fantastic artists, Mel Rye and Morgan Tipping, provide us with a brief update as the exhibition starts to come together.

AUDIO
The People have spoken!...
Morgan has invited six different people from across the country to reflect on what each of the Pauper Biographies means to them. The animations are underway and draw out the resonant connection between the historic biographies and lived experience in the present.

VISUAL
Mel is currently working on translating the information gathered through speaking with researchers connected with the various Workhouse sites, as well as the written biographies and audio work into large scale biographical illustrations that will accompany some of the audio pieces Morgan has been producing to help visualize the biographical narratives for the exhibition.
