Referring to them as "the poor" is not designed to dehumanise, stereotype, judge or patronise these people. But there are sometimes when language fails us.
Fundamentally this section of the website is not designed to give a voice to the poor - they have their own voice which they can choose to use, or not, as they see fit individually and collectively. However, we are unapologetic in providing a platform for their stories, their words, and their accounts of their situations.
